I recently found out about the illustrator Marc Martin
I love his use of textures in his work, they are very effective in creating a visual representation of a setting. I'm also interested in how he creates his illustrations as it looks very handmade. I think he makes all the individual elements by hand and then layers them all into a composition on photoshop, it works really well so I think I will try to do the same - as that way I can keep re-using bits of imagery I have made throughout the project.
