We had to find a partner to work on either a YCN or D&AD brief together, I'm partnered with Emanuel, for our brief we chose the WWF brief from D&AD. We chose this because we feel it could translate quite easily into illustration, we both enjoy drawing animals and it gives us the chance to communicate visual information through a variety of mediums while also giving context to our work.
The brief asks to create a campaign (print, digital or experiential) that encourages 14-24 year olds to understand the impact we have on our planet, and encourage them to help out any way they can. This communication has to reach the audience at relevant touch points during their daily life.
The brief pack gives a lot of factual information, including an annual WWF report full of facts. We were thinking of depicting these facts with illustrations and conveying them through a variety of media such as web banners, booklets, flyers, posters, web ads.
